WHAT IS CRACK STITCHING?
What’s Crack Stitching?
Crack stitching repairs cracks in masonry. As you can see below these are ‘during’ pictures that our head builder Paul has captured.
When carrying out this work he will grind out the cracked area, 100mm on either side. Then insert poly resin, cut the heli bar to size and insert, then finally cover with a second coat of resin and repoint to match the existing brickwork!

WHAT IS REPOINTING?
What Is Repointing?
Our head builder Paul will grind out using an angle grinder to a minimum of 10-20mm, depending on the bed joint size. He’ll then jet wash clean the brickwork to remove dust debris. Paul will then repoint using a 3:1 ratio of sand and cement-based mortar, in various colours and different techniques!
